Meet my incredible Matron of Honor—my big sister, my lifelong protector, and one of the fiercest women I know. She’s the kind of person who tackles everything with unstoppable determination and a heart full of love. Whether it's planning, problem-solving, or offering the kind of honest, thoughtful advice that only she can give, she gets things done—and done well. Through every high and low in life, she has stood firmly by my side, and I truly can't imagine this day without her. I love her beyond words, and I’m so lucky to have her leading this special part of my journey.

Meet my best man—my little brother, born in Hawaii and raised with a heart bigger than the ocean he came from. A lifelong horror movie buff and the most outgoing person I know, he's the guy who can turn strangers into friends in five minutes flat. Life hasn’t always dealt him an easy hand, but I couldn’t be prouder of the man he’s become. He’s got a soft spot for dogs—especially the stray ones that somehow keep finding their way into his home—and an even softer spot for the people he loves. I’m truly honored to have him stand by my side on the biggest day of my life. I hope he reads this—because I want him to know just how much he means to me.

Meet Haley, one of my beautiful bridesmaids and my soul sister of over 20 years. We met while working at Cafe Bernardo/Monkey Bar together in our late teens. We've shared countless laughs, tears, and unforgettable memories together. Haley is the definition of a free-spirited hippie—kind, caring, and endlessly generous. She dances like no one’s watching, lives for fun and adventure, and is always up for anything life throws her way. Her warmth and vibrant energy are magnetic—she’s the kind of person you fall in love with instantly. I couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side.

Meet Alex – the brains of the group and my best friend since, I think, second grade. He’s always been the voice of reason among us, offering advice and wisdom that’s kept me out of trouble more times than I can count. Alex is the steady hand in our circle of chaos, the one who brings us back down to earth when we need it most. Beyond that, he’s the glue that keeps our group of misfits together, and I know we’ll always have each other’s backs. I’m incredibly lucky to have him standing by my side on this big day.

From wild nights out to heartfelt conversations, we've been through it all—laughing, dancing, grieving, and growing together. Yvonne is a radiant force: funny, high-energy, and deeply spiritual. She’s always chasing new adventures, connecting with people, and bringing her vibrant, wild spirit wherever she goes. With a deep love for nature and a heart full of gold, she lifts everyone around her and truly is the life of the party. Through the best times and the hardest ones, Yvonne has been a constant, and I feel so lucky to have her standing with me on this special day.

Meet Ryan – my best friend since elementary school and someone I proudly consider a part of my family. Ryan is a true dreamer, the kind of person you can share your biggest hopes and life goals with, knowing he'll not only listen but cheer you on every step of the way. He's endlessly supportive, always encouraging those around him to reach higher and believe in themselves. Ryan is also the kind of guy who would break his back to help someone he cares about, never expecting anything in return. His loyalty, heart, and unwavering friendship have meant the world to me, and I couldn't imagine this day without him standing by my side.

The primary airport on the island of Maui is Kahului Airport. Hawaiian, Alaska, Southwest, United and Delta airlines will fly you there. You can use Google Flights to track prices and receive notifications of price drops. We also recommend using the Hopper app to track and book flights.


Be sure to have a Passport or a Real ID when booking your flight. The requirement of Real IDs for all US domestic flights went into effect on 5/7/25.

Kahului Airport

Activities, sight seeing and popular beaches are a bit spread out on the island. While there are many things to do in the Lahaina area, there are many amazing places in the North and South of Maui. Therefore, it is suggested to rent a car so you can make the most of your trip. Rental cars can be obtained at the Kahului airport. The airport is a 45 minute drive to Lahaina, HI, where the wedding festivities are taking place. The most popular rental cars on the island are Jeep Wranglers, Minivans and Mustang Convertibles, but really any car will do just fine. Uber and Lyft are available on the island if that is what you prefer.

CAR RENTALS

The wedding ceremony is taking place here. It's not required that you stay here, but it is an option. Average cost of stay is $400-$500/night. There are many other hotels in the surrounding areas that you can find at different price points. Hotels most certainly do sell out in Hawaii, so early planning and preparation is key.

Kāʻanapali Beach Resort

Renting a condo is cheaper in Maui than a hotel, especially if you share with other guests. There are many options on AirBnB and VRBO, but book as early as possible as they do become scarce as the event approaches. The bride and groom rented a condo via AirBnB for a great price. Start looking and book ASAP.

Ka'anapali BeachThis beach is closest to the hotel where the wedding ceremony is taking place. The after party will be here. It is a three mile stretch of sand that is a hot spot for parasailing, windsurfing and jet skis. Black Rock is a famous spot on the beach and a hot spot for cliff jumping, snorkeling and scuba diving. Parking is limited but there are parking lots in the nearby hotels. Look for "Beach Access Parking" signs in the resort's parking lots. Napili BayBeautiful and scenic, this northwestern famous beach houses white sand and turqouise waters, perfect for paddling boarding, swimming and snorkeling. Rent gear at nearby board shops. Kapalua BayAnother great beach for snorkeling, scuba diving and swimming. Seahorse is a fantastic pacific rim and happy hour restaurant in an open-air setting on the beach. Want a bougie romantic dinner? Merriman's is nearby that has an unbeatable view and a fancy farm-to-table cuisine. Reservations required at Merriman's. Slaughterhouse BeachHidden beach with a lot of shade in case you want a break from the sun. Around the corner is Honolua Bay, one of the best surfing spots in the world. Amazing picturesque views are worth the trip alone. Parking is limited, so prepare for street parking. Launiupoko Beach ParkBeautiful beach park and considered a Maui hidden gem. The park is very large and quiet, perfect for relaxing and picnics. Enjoy watching the surfers here daily.

Popular Beaches

The scenic Road to Hana is an undisputed top attraction on the island. When it comes to driving the Hana Highway in Maui, it's the journey, not the destination. There are few words that can describe the cliffs and waterfalls that you will encounter as you travel this highway. Depending on where you start and how far you want to take this highway, this drive can be anywhere from 30-60 miles with much to take in. The drive will take a lot longer than you think, especially if you discover spots to eat or pull over and explore. Book a special permit to visit the black sand beaches. Road to Hana

Airport Beach BoardwalkThe boardwalk goes from all the way from the north to south ends of the island, along all the resorts and shopping. Easy public beach parking and great views along this boardwalk. Kapalua Coastal TrailAn out and back trail that is easy elevation and about 1.5 miles one way along the coast, perfect for those picturesque moments. At the end of the trail, there is a labyrinth which has significant cultural value to the locals and definitely worth checking out. Honolua BayThink 'fairy tale forest' then look up 'Honolua Bay Access Trail'. A short easy walk from the road to the bay is absolutely magical and a can't miss. The bay itself is rocky and world famous for surfing and snorkeling. The north side of the bay has an abundance of fish and coral reefs. This is a sacred place for Hawaiians, so please be respectful, pay attention and abide the posted signs. Haleakala National ParkHome to the Mount Haleakala Volcano, the 3rd largest volcano in Hawaii. Head to the Summit District, where you can explore the crater, overlook the lush rainforests, and relax above the clouds. You can even see the big island on clear days. Sunrise visits require reservations. Park entrance fees apply: $30 per vehicle, $15 per pedestrian.

Located in the Hyatt Regency Resort, and known as one of the best Lu'aus in Hawaii, you can immerse in the Hawaiian culture with lots of food and drinks during the exciting show. $200/person

Whaler's VillageOverlooking the emerald waters of Ka'anapali Beach, this shopping village offers a range of gems including Kate Spade and Oakley, but also local shops for other aloha wear. The Shops at WaileaMaui's own Rodeo Drive! Located at south shore, here you will find the supreme luxury shops such as Gucci, Saint Laurent, Louis Vutton etc.
